WBJ recognizes three fastest growing companies in DC area for 2024
The Washington Business Journal recognized the top three fastest-growing companies in Greater Washington for 2024.
Fairfax-based Black Canyon Consulting LLC, ranked first. The company provides IT management support and program services, growing over 300% from 2021 to 2023 with $46.33 million in revenue. CEO Haley Esser credits selective project choices and a dedicated team, including former Division 1 athletes. The company recently expanded into medical services, focusing on PTSD treatment for veterans using innovative retinal measurement devices.
Autosled LLC, ranked second, is a SaaS platform for vehicle transport logistics, described as the “Uber for cars.” (The Horizon thought Uber was the Uber for cars, but we digress.) Founded by Dan and David Sperau, the startup reported $36.12 million in revenue in 2023. Their platform improves efficiency in the fragmented auto logistics market, moving vehicles long distances for buyers and transporters.
Third-ranked Raft LLC, a McLean-based government contractor, specializes in modular software solutions for DOD, including the Air and Space Forces. Founder Shubhi Mishra emphasized their “buy what you need” approach to client development, which has generated Raft’s $80.56 million revenue in 2023.
