Army deploys generative AI in its cloud environment
The U.S. Army has integrated a generative AI platform into its cArmy cloud environment, a significant step forward in the military’s adoption of AI, reports DefenseScoop. The AI will be available to users in up to an impact level 5 environment used for highly sensitive military information. Developed by Ask Sage, the platform leverages Microsoft's Azure OpenAI, with an initial rollout to 400 users and plans for enterprise-wide expansion. The deployment aims to enhance the Army's operational capabilities while addressing data privacy and security concerns associated with AI technologies.
