Rumor: Delta to slash SkyClub visits to six for Platinum members in 2026
Last year, Delta tried to trim its elite ranks and was forced to backtrack. Now, noted Delta hater View from the Wing is reporting the Atlanta-based carrier may revert to stricter SkyClub access rules sourcing a rumor on Reddit. Under the rumored changes, Amex Reserve cardholders would see a reduction from 15 to 10 visits per year, while Platinum cardholders would drop from 10 to 6 visits. The visit cap would not apply to Diamond or 360 members, and the three-hour preflight access rule would be waived for Delta One and Diamond members. These adjustments align with Delta's ongoing efforts to prioritize its most frequent and lucrative customers, while potentially limiting access for semiregular members. Although unconfirmed, these changes could take effect by 2026 if announced.
